Hi!
I get suddenly the following error when accessing the error:
"The underlying connection was closed: Unable to connect to the remote
server."
The configuration has not been changed.....!?!

happened when I came to work this Monday. Everything was working normally
when I left Friday. No configuration changes have been done.
The only good thing is I can still render reports through the web service.
So this is an annoyance but thankfully my application is still working for
now.
If I go to:
http://reportserver/reports/
I get the exact same error you got.
If I go to:
http://reportserver/reportserver/
everything works fine and I see folders and links to previously uploaded
reports. I can also run reports from here.
My reporting services app runs on Windows 2003 Server. It is on a separate
server from SQL Server 2000 Standard which is also a Windows 2003 Server. I
have been running Reporting Services SP1 for a few weeks now. I do not think
that Windows XP SP2 has been applied to the servers by the sysadmins yet.
If you solve this yourself or find the solution could you please reply to
this thread. I will do that same for you.
