I'm having a problem with my subscriptions running because it looks like the
ReportServer windows service is stopping and starting. I get a message a few
times a day in the application log stating that the service is starting so
I'm assuming it is shutting down for some reason. Is there a way to stop
this?You need to look in the reportserverservice_<timestamp>.log file to try and
see why the service is restarting. It should not be doing that.

looks like it does 2 cleanup cycles and it stops. It looks like it will
start when I go to the report manager and stops after doing the cleanup. The
problem is that when a report is scheduled to run, the service doesn't
startup. so they don't run. Each log file ends with lines like:
y!108c!4/28/2005-09:18:49:: i INFO: Cleaned 0 batch records, 0 policies, 0
sessions, 0 cache entries, 4 snapshots, 18 chunks, 0 running jobs

ReportServerService_<timestamp> you might also look at
ReportserverService__main_<timestamp>.log files for information.
