ReportViewer control for WinForms - can I copy text?

I am using the ReportViewer control for Windows Forms, and I would like to be able let my users copy text from the report. Is there any way to configure this? At the moment, the text is not selectable.

Thanks,
Erick

Unfortuntately, the text is not selectable in the winforms reportviewer control. This is something we hope to enable in the future.|||

I understand, thanks. I've been getting a lot of pushback from users on this issue, so I'm glad to hear it's on your radar screen.

Thanks,
Erick

version. during the execution of the reports in report services I get an
error that read *** 'reportServerTempdb.dbo.persitedstream' ** this message

the db backup was done an 2005, after I restored the latest version of the d

I reapplied RP services sp2 and I still get the error. Please if this is a
setting that I am missing or what I screwed up.

reportservertempdb

We are working on creating a copy of our SQL server machine for disaster
recovery purposes. ReportServerTempDB is purely a temp database, correct?
Meaning, the data in it does not need to be replicated from our production
server to our disaster recovery server, correct?
Could someone just verify this for me.
Thanks.Yes, you don't need to replicated your ReportServerTempDB
According to BOL "Backup and Restore Operations for a Reporting Services
Installation"
The only reason to backup the reportservertempdb is to avoid having to
recreate it if there is a hardware failure.

re-establish services from a repository of stored data? ...or... are you
looking for fault tollerance where a more real-time fail over takes place
imediately after the falure due to disaster?

We're looking a the former. We have an offsite repository of data, which we
would use to re-establish services in the event of a fire or something like
that. This isn't for real time failover.

Reporting Test Web Environment

Has anyone come up with a way to deploy reports to a test environment without
purchasing a new server and a second copy of Reporting Services? I would
like to have second website with a copy of our live site for testing purposes
but we don't have the resources or the demand to warrant a second server.
There's nothing that I can find in the RS documentation to create a second
instance. I tried making a new virtual web in IIS and copying the files to
the web's underlying file structure but that did not work.
Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms403426.aspx

Reporting SVCS - Installing production over eval???

I am working on a reporting services development project. We installed the
evaluation copy of reporting services to support the project (we had to order
the standard production version). I now have the disc, and the development
project is about to end. I need to install the production version.
I installed using the disc that was sent. The install didn't take long. In
the event log, it says "The ReportServer service has been activated.".
Since we are about to finish the development project, I need to make sure we
are actually using the Production version.
How can I verify this?
If I need to do something else, what is it?
Thanks,
Andrew

Go to Contrl Panel, Add/Remove Programs; find MS SQL Server Reporting
Services and then click on the "Click here for support information link".

|||Thanks for the reply. It is showing the eval edition still installed.
What do I need to do in order to install the production version?

AFAIK you will have to use the same procedure as upgrading from Beta2 -
